The new look and feel features easier navigation and links to more topics of general interest on the main splash page and city department home pages, including your favorite links to other local, county and state agencies. Among the navigation tools includes drop down and sub-menus to minimize the number of clicks to get to your destination as well as breadcrumb trails to document where you have been so you can easily back step though the layers of the site.
We also incorporated a translation engine powered by Google that performs narrative conversions to more than 50 foreign languages, Google Maps to assist in navigating to events and facilities and a downloadable calendar to sync with your Outlook calendar.
Access to City online services has never been easier. Our webpage’s offer a broad array of service delivery tools that range from paying your bills with the City to requesting information and assistance. You can even follow us on a variety of social networking sites, such as Twitter, Facebook and YouTube. Coming soon also are RSS feeds which will also be used to keep our mobile customers informed on topics of interest on a real time basis.
Transparency in government offers our residents and others with access to public meeting calendars, agendas and minutes. Our media center includes a library of on-demand videos featuring City Council meetings, local community events, educational awareness and videos focused on various aspects of Gardena’s rich heritage and quality of life.
