Dance Permit
It is unlawful in Gardena to hold a dance at any fraternal hall or
public assembly place without a Dance Permit. A permit is NOT required
for affairs held on private property, such as a residence. For more

A resident who wants to hold a garage or yard sale in the City must
obtain a permit prior to the event. No more than four garage sales
may be conducted upon the same property within a calendar year. Additional

Permit
Certain home businesses are permitted by the City to be carried on
by the inhabitant of a dwelling. The permitted business must be incidental
and secondary to the use of the structure for living purposes. The
