Neighborhood Services - Includes enforcement of all land use related City and state regulations and policies in collaboration with other city and county agencies, residents and business persons to promote and maintain a high quality of life in our residential neighborhoods and vitality in our commercial and industrial corridors. This program places high priority on voluntary compliance and neighborhood empowerment, but includes citation, prosecution and abatement activities when necessary to achieve the goals. A portion of the Code Enforcement Program is grant-funded through the Community Development Block Grant.

Goal of Neighborhood Services: To investigate and resolve complaints about land use, real property and public nuisance conflicts/problems in low and moderate income areas and slum/blight areas with weekend presence. To learn more about what constitutes a public nuisance click here.
