Beginning in August 2002, the Gardena Police Department developed a new cable network television show, entitled, “Heart Beat of the Community.” This program was created to highlight various police issues, crime prevention, and spotlight various members and details of the Gardena Police Department to provide the community with a better understanding of those that serve them.

Currently, "Heart Beat of the Community" is not in production.
