Summer/Winter
Day Camps
The
City of Gardena Recreation & Human Services Department sponsors
two camps, a Summer Day Camp and a Winter Day Camp for children between the ages of 6-12. Hours are 7:00 a.m. to 6:00
p.m. Monday through Friday (excluding holidays).
The camps are
held at one of the following parks: Freeman Park, Rowley Park, and Arthur Lee Johnson Memorial Park.
The camps include two snacks
per day, activities, educational work, arts & crafts and most excursions. Pre-registration is required, register at the
Recreation Division Office located in the Nakaoka Community Center at:
1670 W. 162nd Street

7:30 am - 9:00 pm - Monday-Friday
