Gardena's next General Municipal Election will be held March 3, 2009. Seats to be filled include Mayor, City Council members (2), City Clerk, and City Treasurer.

Voter
Requirements and Registration
Voters must be 18 years old, a U.S. citizen, and registered with Los
Angeles County as a Gardena resident at least 15 days before the date
of the election. Registration forms are available in the City Hall
lobby, the City Clerk's Office, and at libraries, DMV's and post offices.

Absentee "Vote by Mail" Ballot Applications
Any qualified voter may apply for an absentee --"vote by mail"-- ballot up to seven (7) days before

Ballot pamphlet, at the Gardena City Clerk's Office, and from this website preceding a City election. For State and Federal
elections, including special, primary, and presidential, Absentee
