MLK Parade & Celebration

HONORING DR. KING
The City of Gardena, the first city west of the Mississippi River to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., has an Annual Celebration of Dr. King. The City holds a celebration every year with an evening Youth Program at the Nakaoka Community Center followed by a parade the next day. The program will feature music, choirs, essay contest winners, refreshments and more. Admission is free.
