Elementary school students in 1st through 5th Grade are picked up from selected schools serving Gardena and will be taken to the Community Center or the Park. Middle school students in grades 6 and 7 may walk to the Nakaoka Community Center and check in. Program runs from the time school is out for the day until 6:00 p.m.
Other information
Pre-registration is mandatory. The first weeks’ payment is due at the time of registration. One week advance payment is mandatory for all participants.

Additional information will be given at the time of registration. Pick up an application at one of the facilities listed below.
Children attending Amestoy, Denker, Gardena, 153rd Street or 186th Street elementary schools will attend the program at:

Daily Activity Schedule
3:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Homework Assistance
4:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. Snack
4:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. Recreation Activity
5:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Free Play/Pick-up
*Late Pick Up Policy:
Parent/Adult picking up children after 6 p.m. will be charged $5 for first 15 minutes they are late; and $5 for each additional 5 minutes.
This fee is due on the day you are late and must be paid by cash only. Children picked up late on any three days may be expelled from the After School Program.
