Off Site Improvements
Any work or activity within the public right of way is considered an off-site improvement. That is, if anyone is digging, constructing, or doing any work on Public Street, sidewalk, curb or gutter or any underground work within the public right of way such as sewer, curb drains, etc.; these are considered off-site improvements. Any off-site improvement or any activity within the public right of way requires an encroachment permit from the Public Works Department. Encroachment permit fees are also required and vary depending on the type of work being done.
