Public Contracts
In accordance with the State of California Public Contract Code Section 20160, et seq., when the expenditure required for a public project exceeds five thousand dollars ($5,000), it shall be contracted for and let to the lowest responsible bidder after notice. Bid Results documents show the outcome of bid openings for a City Capital Improvement Projects and also show the Contractors with their bid proposals. Final contract award of projects to the lowest, most responsive bidder is made official upon the Contract Award by the City Council.
A Plan Holder's List shows contact information of all Contractors who have purchased documents such as Plans and Specifications for an upcoming City Contract job. These lists are used by contractors and sub-contractors for business purposes.
