The Gardena One-Stop continually re-evaluates its programs in an effort to provide the most beneficial services to the public and private sectors. We understand that our purpose is to satisfy our customers, both individuals and businesses. STAFF seeks to provide greater access to job opening announcements and more training opportunities for job seekers. By notifying employers about qualified applicants and providing a space to conduct job interviews, the One-Stop strives to meet the needs of local businesses. We work closely with various partners to ensure that our customers remain competitive in an increasingly global, technological economy.
Our partners include:
City of Gardena
South Bay Workforce Investment Board (SBWIB)
California Employment Development Department (EDD)
Department of Rehabilitation
GAIN (CalWORKS)
El Camino Community College
California State University, Dominguez Hills
Veterans Affairs
South Bay Economic Development Partnership
The Gardena One-Stop is funded by and provides programs in compliance with the Workforce Investment Act. (www.edd.cahwnet.gov), the City of Gardena, and other grant funding sources, including the Community Development Block Grant. FUNDING is used to support many of our adult and youth programs, enabling the One-Stop to provide services at no cost to employers and job seekers.
