Minority Voter Outreach
Minority Voter Outreach Advisory Board
This ad hoc board, made up of at least five members from the community, each of whom is fluent in one of the four non-English languages identified as used by a significant population of Gardena: Spanish, Korean, Japanese, and Vietnamese, convenes at least three times prior to, and at least once following an election. The role of this Board is to assist in reaching out to Gardena voters whose primary language is not English, to ensure they have all the tools available to exercise their right to vote.
